M/s. Saalim Shoes (P) Ltd is part of a Group of Companies categorized among the top footwear exporters in India. An ISO 9001:2008 and SA 8000:2008 certified company this group is operated under the dynamic leadership of Mr. A. Mohammed Saalim – Chairman and Managing Director.

Starting modestly in the year 2000 under the title of M/s. A. Mohammed Saalim & Co as a family business, this company has grown in leaps and bounds now manufacturing 200,000 pairs of leather upper per month from a meager capacity of 20,000 pairs. The facility was expanded to full shoe making in the year 2007 making 25,000 pairs per month in two full-shoe making tracks. With continuous improvement, this has now increased its production capacity to 200,000 pairs of full-shoe per month in 11 full-shoe tracks with a strength of 2,750 employees. Currently the group’s annual turnover is US $ 35 million.

Presently the facility houses sophisticated machineries and supporting amenities in a built up area of 150,000 sq.ft out of the available landscape area of 165,000 sq ft.

The full shoe facility has association with International brands like Clarks, Marks &Spencers, Next, Base London, Eram Group, Zara Group and Geox apart from exports to countries like UK, Italy, Germany, Spain and France.

The primary motto of the facility is to provide reliability of production, maintaining delivery schedule, reliability on high dignity and optimum production capacity to the satisfaction of the customers. This facility is integrated with strong systems and guidelines as well as strict tags with the latest International Reach Standards and Restricted Substances List (RSL).

The in-house facility boasts of high technical expertise team from Italy and UK. It is headed by a CEO who is professional. The high standards prevailing in the organizational structure is evident in the Product development & Engineering team, merchandising team, Quality Assurance team, Procurement & Sourcing team. The facility is designed and supported with highly sophisticated ERP systems. The group is governed by strong HR, IR & Administrative policies, equally supported by stringent pollution free atmosphere laying emphasis on Safety and Good Environment.
